Gear up for the High Country Pinball End of Summer Open, crashing into Park Plaza Liquor & Deli on Saturday, August 29! Whether you are a seasoned wizard or a casual flipper ready to test your skills, this standalone Saturday tournament is your playground. All skill levels walk away with meaningful matches, massive local bragging rights, and a shot at a cash prize pool.
Registration opens alongside a designated practice block at 12:00 PM (Noon), plunging the first ball exactly at 12:30 PM. To keep your flipper fingers sharp, we have integrated a dedicated 60-minute drink and meal break right in the middle of the bracket, letting you refuel with the best craft beer and kitchen bites Prescott has to offer.

Time & Dates
Tournament Date: Saturday August 29, 2026
Timeline:
12:00 PM: On-site check-in, registration validation, and warm-up practice.
12:30 PM Sharp: Opening announcements and first competitive ball plunged.
2:30 PM – 3:30 PM: Official drink and meal break.
5:30 PM: Tournament concludes followed by trophies and cash payouts.

Cost & Rules Structure:
Tournament Fees: $20 flat registration fee (to the prize pool).
The Coin Drop: Games are set to standard pay-to-play pricing. Players fund their own individual games directly at the machines during tournament match play.
The Tournament Format: Players compete in a series of 4 random 4-player Group Match Play rounds to earn points (7-5-3-1 scoring). At the 2:30 PM cutoff, the top 4 players with the highest points advance to an elite, 3-game final grid to determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall.
Registration & Cash Policy
Payment Method: Fees must be paid strictly in cash at the tournament desk during the 12:00 PM check-in window.
Coin Drop: Entry fees cover prize pools and sanctioning only. Players are fully responsible for funding their own game credits ($1.00 per game) via cash or quarters at the machine doors during active matches.
Punctuality & No-Show Policy
Hard Cutoff: Registration and check-in close strictly at 12:20 PM.
Late Arrivals: To ensure fairness and maintain our venue timeline, late arrivals will not be added to the software once the first-round groups are generated at 12:30 PM.
Match Absence: If a player is not present at their assigned machine when their group is ready to plunge, a 3-minute clock will start. If they do not return, their ball will be plunged for them, or they will automatically receive last place (1 point) for that game.
Food & Beverage Policy
Support the Venue: Park Plaza Liquor and Deli is generously hosting our community. Outside food and drink are strictly prohibited.
Scheduled Break: A dedicated 1-hour intermission is built into the schedule at 2:30 PM. Please use this window to open tabs, order lunch, and close out your checks so tournament play can resume promptly at 3:30 PM.
